Kate Tkacik leads the direction, growth, and deeper engagement of the Funding Information Network, both domestically and globally. Kate joined Foundation Center in 2014 as the E-Resources Librarian at Foundation Center West. Before joining Foundation Center, Kate worked as a business librarian for a financial services provider in Chicago, IL. Prior to that, Kate discovered her passion for connecting people to the resources that can help them succeed at a nonprofit residential treatment facility for young adults in Chicago where she developed the in-house library/learning center. Kate holds Bachelors and Masters Degrees in English Literature from St. Bonaventure University and a Masters in Library and Information Science from Dominican University. Away from work, Kate enjoys adventures on the Internet, around her neighborhood, and in the great outdoors.
